The Villager Community Bus Service
There is a regular bus service weekly to Chipping Norton on Friday afternoons. Wednesday mornings there is a service to Witney. See here for the timetable.
Kingham Railway Station
Kingham railway station (GWR) is 3.7 miles from Fifield – allow 15 minutes to drive and park. There is a carpark and direct trains to London Paddington and the West Coast Line via Worcester. There is a less frequent service from Shipton Under Wychwood. You can sometimes get cheap tickets and always later trains from London if you park at Oxford Parkway.
Taxi Services
Taxi services generally come from Bourton on the Water and can get very busy. Remember to book well in advance. Wychwood taxis 07756669744 – Grant is locally recommended for short and long distance taxi runs. If you get stuck ask on the Village Whatsapp group for a recommendation when you need one.
