Communication in Fifield
There are regular Parish and Church Newsletters available as printed copy or email, also a Fifield Whats App group. The Whats App group is active, with over 60 members, making it easy to ask a question or for help. You are welcome to join it and ask neighbour if you can be added.
General Data Protection The Chairman of the Parish Meeting holds a list of those who have been happy to provide email addresses but these may not be shared without specific consent. The Chairman is happy to forward messages without disclosing email addresses.

Fifield Church
Fifield Church is open outside of services. It is a place of tranquillity and everyone is welcome. It can be a helpful place to sit and enjoy the peace. Its also lovely and cool in the summer time.
Art Group
We meet every Friday (except Bank Holidays) 10.00 am -1.00 pm £5 per session to include coffee and biscuits We are a very relaxed group and all levels and ages are very welcome. Pilates and Stretch
3 classes per week in the village hall. All levels. 1 hour. £10 per session.
Monday 6pm – All levels, joint friendly
Monday 7pm – Intermediate Pilates
Thursday 9am – Gentle stretch & move class. All levels, joint friendly.
Warm Hubs
Warm Hubs are regular gatherings in the Parish Hall for anyone who fancies company and a hot drink. One is weekly and you can drop in and stay as long as you like. Talented village bakers also provide delicious cakes and biscuits. This hub (known as “Coffee, Cake and Company”) has proved so popular that it continued throughout the year, with a summer break and the Christmas/New Year period.
Coffee, Homemade Cake and Company, Followed by Soup – “Food with Friends”
Why not come along and enjoy friendly company, good food and a cosy environment. First Tuesday of the month in the winter autumn and early spring. Just £3 per head. Feel free to come and stay for as long as you like. Check the whatson page, noticeboards including in the Church, for future dates.
Supper Club
After many successful gatherings Rosie’s wonderful Supper Club is changing. Going forward there will be suppers for charity – with a limit of 30 people, so booking early is important. With chef Rosie at the helm we will continue to enjoy delicious and remarkably good value cuisine. Last year the charity supper in aid of the Ukraine helped raise £1500 for DEC and in February 2023 the supper raised £710 for the DEC Earthquake fund. Games Evenings
A relaxed evening open to all with board games, card games or just chat, with a simple two course supper. Pre-book if possible to help with catering. £5/head – payable on the night. Search on the whatson tab to find future ones.
Green Fifield Community Action Group
Green Fifield is a friendly welcoming group made up of Fifield residents. It runs a number of activities in the village and everyone is very welcome to join the group or join in specific initiatives. More information is on its own webpage.
Theatre Productions
The village enjoys an annual visit from the Foundry Company who delight us with an original play. You are advised to book early as capacity is limited. Search on the whatson tab to find the date of the next one.
The Wychwood Players are a thriving amateur dramatics group and new members are welcome. There are usually two main productions every year at the New Beaconsfield Hall, well supported and sometimes involving Fifield residents
Self Service Book Lending
You can deposit and borrow books from The Parish Hall on a Saturday Morning and Thursday afternoon
Recreation Ground
The recreation ground is at the bottom of the village behind the green. It has table tennis, football and rugby posts, swings, a picnic table. Its a large lovely space with fabulous views.
Post Office
The post office operates from the Parish Hall, weekly on a Thursday from 2pm to 4pm. Its worth getting there 10 minutes before close if you have parcels or more complicated transactions.
