Thursday Hub: Started in the autumn of 2022 as a Warm Hub project, it was extended to being a weekly Coffee, Cake and Company Morning – or CCC for short. After short break over Christmas and New Year the Hub will resume on 11th January. The organisers are grateful to the Hall Committee for its support during the year. We also very much appreciate the support from those who have the baked cakes, biscuits etc for everyone to shore and add to the enjoyment.
FOOD WITH FRIENDS is a monthly gathering on the first Tuesday of the month. It offers coffee followed by a light lunch of homemade soup and there is a nominal charge of £3. After a Christmas/New Year break it resumed on 2nd January. A date in March will be announced in due course.
SOME RECENT PAST EVENTS
CHRISTMAS PARTY – Committee members welcomed Fifield residents to an annual gathering in the very attractively decorated Hall.
T4U – THE SHOE BOX APPEAL
For the third year, we participated in supporting this very worthwhile project and we’d like to thank all those who helped in any way, whether it was shopping, knitting, wrapping boxes, donating or sorting . There were some lovely presents as well as some very imaginative ones, and we hope they will bring happy smiles to lots of faces. The prepared boxes were full to overflowing and they, together with any loose items, were taken to the Benefice Centre in readiness for Shoe Box Sunday. As previously, it was a wonderful effort and we are enormously grateful for the support we received.
“FRIENDS” COFFEE MORNING
The Hall was the venue for a very successful and welcoming Pre-Christmas Coffee Morning . Huge thanks to everyone who supported in any way. (See Church page for more details)
