Fifield Parish Meeting

This is an open meeting for everyone living in the parish – those who are on the Voters’ Register may vote. It meets at least twice a year and anyone can request items to be put on the agenda but there must be at least 7 clear days’ notice to the Chairman. The meeting decides on parish priorities, including the budget, and looking at planning applications affecting the parish. It works with the County and District Councils over highway matters and grass cutting public areas. Meeting Notices are on the 2 village notice boards (one outside the Parish Hall and one in the Bus Helter). In future the Agendas will be on the Website as well and the confirmed Minutes may also be posted. The Draft Minutes are posted on the Noticeboards which remain the official method of notification.
